British Dogs & the braindead owners!!!!!!!! GGGrrrr
Just at the end of an easy 90 mins Cross Country through the beautiful Countyside and lanes of Kent, England and at the end through my village two huge great Wolf like - these things would be at home on the plains of the USA - come dashing at me and barking...Luckily I've stared at a Lion in South Africa...so it gives me balls the size of Tony Soprano & they stopped in their tarcks BUT what gets me are the owners...I'd love to bite their arses!!! Toss pots!!! Where the hell was the owner?? Probabley having his brain drained from all the tosh and selfish shite they've been mentally and physically ingesting!!! Rant over.

Great post. I've been there too many times to count.
Now I carry an extra-large pepper spray with me... the kind people use on grizzly bears in Alaska. The range is out to 30ft or more. I originally got it because we have mountain lions here. Of course, the reality is that if a mountian lion wanted to get me, I probably would never see it except at the very last moment.
However, I have used the spray on several dogs however and it works great. Instead of being afraid of packs of mean dogs, now I enjoy our encounters.
I have had the pleasure of "training" several of them to mind their manners. Sometimes the owners are watching and chuckling, not trying to call their dogs off at all but instead laughing loudly at my expense.
Then I pepper-spray their dogs- the laughing stops immediately and they begin to yell obscenities at me.
Hell, you should thank me for "training" your dogs; after all I'm doing it for free and at no cost to you.

You don't think it's so funny now that Spike and Cujo with the extra big collars are hiding and whimpering underneath your pick-up truck?
Well, if you don't like it, why don't you come a little closer yourself? I be more than happy to "train" you too in proper manners, if you'd like.
LOL Yes, good call..I am gonna buy me some pepper spray!! LOL
